Do not Wait for the Sun not to Shine!

Miracles

Since the beginning of the time, we have all being fascinated by miracles. Let us see what the definition of miracle is:

Extraordinary and surprising event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore often attributed to divine intervention.

In different contexts, miracles can mean:

·         A supernatural act, believed to be performed by a deity or higher power.

·         An amazing or highly improbable event that brings about a positive outcome.

·         In everyday language, something incredibly fortunate or unexpected—like narrowly avoiding an accident or overcoming difficult odds.

One of the key aspects of a miracle is the POSITIVE OUTCOME. This is the reason why; we all are looking for miracles mostly when we are facing difficult or challenging times.

One thing they tell us in the cybersecurity world is that we should not expect any miracles. If the controls are not in place, we shall be hit hard by the bad actors and make the headlines. But we look for the biggest miracles when it comes to God. We want Him to manifest His power in the greatest way to rescue us. We expect the sun not to shine as a sign of a miracle of God.

What if I tell you that miracles happen every minute in our lives and they are all from one source: GOD!

Jesus made a lot of miracles

The Bible is filled with miracles Jesus accomplished during His 33 years on earth. The son of God always made sure anyone that trusted in Him and followed Him was restored by miracles He performed. These are some of the miracles:

Miracles of Healing

  1. Healing the nobleman’s son (John 4:46-54)

  2. Healing a paralyzed man at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-9)

  3. Healing a man with a withered hand (Matthew 12:9-14, Mark 3:1-6, Luke 6:6-11)

  4. Healing a woman with an issue of blood (Matthew 9:20-22, Mark 5:25-34, Luke 8:42-48)

Miracles of Power Over Nature

  1. Turning water into wine (John 2:1-11)

  2. Feeding 5,000 people (Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:10-17, John 6:1-15)

  3. Feeding 4,000 people (Matthew 15:32-39, Mark 8:1-10)

  4. Walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33, Mark 6:45-52, John 6:16-21)

Miracles of Deliverance

  1. Casting out demons into a herd of pigs (Matthew 8:28-33, Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39)

  2. Healing a demon-possessed man in Capernaum (Mark 1:21-27, Luke 4:31-36)

  3. Healing a demon-possessed boy (Matthew 17:14-20, Mark 9:14-29, Luke 9:37-43)

  4. Healing a blind, mute demoniac (Matthew 12:22-23, Luke 11:14-23)

Miracles of Resurrection

  1. Raising Jairus’ daughter (Matthew 9:18, 23-26, Mark 5:21-24, 35-43, Luke 8:40-42, 49-56)

  2. Raising a widow’s son in Nain (Luke 7:11-17)

  3. Raising Lazarus from the dead (John 11:1-44)

  4. Jesus’ own resurrection (Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-12, John 20:1-18)

The list is impressive! All these miracles were done by GOD to not only help His people but also to show to the world that He is IN CONTROL! Well, nothing has changed. God is still accomplishing miracles, and we do not need to see that the sun did not shine, or the moon disappeared to have confirmation of this fact!

God is at work 24/7!

God is accomplishing miracles every second for each one of us! Remember, we are 95% spiritual and 5% carnal! All the battles are taking place in the spiritual realm. And they are taking place without us being aware! This is the reason why we say God is not making miracles anymore and the entire world has made us to believe that God is not in this business anymore. This is very far from the truth! God is at work for us 24/7.

Can you imagine the number of miracles that God accomplish every second around us to protect us, shield us, clean us , move us away from evil, stop us from using a specific road where evil has been placed to attack us, destroying evil spirits that are sent to harm us, touching people that are going to work with us, setting the environment to make sure that our events will go smoothly, making our heart beat continuously, making us wake up in the morning, making us breath,… I can continue and fill hundreds of pages!

We are taking God’s miracle for granted. Think about it; God can decide to stop your heart in a blink of an eye and that will be the end of you! But our hearts beat more than 3 billion times during a lifetime with an average of 80 beats per minute. Do you think this is not a miracle? For me, it is one and one of the greatest because all of us benefit from the wonderful miracle without distinction!

Romans 8:38-39 says: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

This verse beautifully illustrates that God's love is unwavering, limitless, and unbreakable—nothing in existence can separate us from it. His love is not conditional or fleeting; it is eternal and all-encompassing. Do you think with this declaration God will not accomplish miracles for us every second of our life?

Call for Action

Always remember that God loves you and will do anything to protect and keep you going on the path of life He has for you. Do not fall in the trap of the world telling you that God has retired a long time ago and He is not a miracle maker anymore! Instead tell everyone when you take a breath that God just accomplished a wonderful miracle in your life!

Don’t be shy, tell you children, your spouse, your brothers and sisters, your friends what miracles God has accomplished in your life and how it transformed your life. Tell them that God is your first and principal partner. All of this will go a long way to impact our surrounding so we can all see the beauty and power of the miracles of GOD!

GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!

God bless you!
